Spied: Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake
From concept to reality, here it is in the flesh.

Spotted today by our trusty Teamspeed spies near the Mercedes plant in Southern Germany, the Mercedes-Benz CLS Shooting Brake has gone from concept to reality. First introduced back in 2010 as a concept in Beijing, this new CLS variant is slotted to enter production in 2012.

Aside from the rear, not much is expected to change from the standard CLS. The engines options for the Shooting Brake will be the same as in the CLS Coupe currently offered. The prototypes are virtually undisguised, suggesting the car is just about ready for production. Expect the CLS Shooting Brake to make its public debut the 2012 Geneva Motor Show next March.

Looks great! But why waiting with a production-ready model when you need a "white rabbit" in Beijing..

Seems like a better option than the R-Class.

Some car should remain unchanged !!! That is not a CLS anymore. It's just a familly wagon. They hited right with the first model. But the new model, is, well in my opinion, way much to overdesigned at the front. The rear is natural, and i agree with it,but the front has too many Led's. And now with this version they will ruin it for good...
