As long time MB owner thanks for sharing. When driving my wife's CY10 E550 I am always impressed by how many features are built in the car to monitor the hostile environment we all take for grated every time we get on the road with our cars.

Those are touching stories. I hope me or my Benz will never encounter such an event. Those stories do say a lot about Mercedes build quality.

Thanks for sharing, I've had good experience with the brand and me and my family have owned many that we still have to date.

I can agree with this 100%. I have been in a crash in a Benz and if I was in some little Civic or Corolla I would not be on here right now.

Totaled my ML a few years back. I spun out on a slick highway and hit a guardrail, spun around, hit another, then down a ravine and hit a tree. There was no body panel untouched. The doors were all smashed, windows blown out, etc. The door opened as I pulled the handle, so I could exit. I wasn't even sore after that.

I can't imagine what would have happened to me had I been in a RAV4.
