I had my resonators removed and replaced with straight pipes instead, gives the car a whole new exhaust tone...

Congratulations on the mods, I changed the resonators on my Car with some Carlsson/Supersprint X pipes and when coupled with the kleemann cats it sounds very brutal and honestly SLR-ish. I gained quiet alot of toque in the low-to mid range rpm levels and it pulls much harder now. From what I've heard the evosport u/d pullies are the most bang of the buck modification on all Merc's when coupled with aftermarket air intakes.

Oh, I also ran across a video which linked me to this thread: https://teamspeed.com/forums/general...m-exhaust.html
I see that the user Nermin1 is from New York... so if I see ya on the highway... I got somethin' for you!

nice
i have a 03 s500 4matic with the custom magnaflow exhaust. I was looking to get rid of those resonator myself but wasnt sure how they would sound.
thank for posting this as i know now my exhaust will sound very mean.
All you need now is a new performance muffler and kleemann sport catalyst
