NEWB here

Hey everyone,
As the title says I'm a newbie on here. I am "waybomb"s son. I am pretty big into Mercedes but also have a few other toys.
I am currently building a 190e track car that is a pretty wild build. I will post pics a little later. As for a list of toys this is what I have so far.

1964 Barron flat bottom v-drive drag boat.
1968 Mercury Monterey convertible
1986 Mercedes 190e 16v
1987 Mercedes 190e 16v
1987 Mercedes 420sel
1988 Mercedes 190e track car.

Also Im big into offshore boats. Mostly turbine powered cats.

Well the track car started from a regular 190e. First thing I did was gut the car out. I have juggled a few different engine packages. I started to build a m104 Mercedes I6 and was going to turbo it but then lost interest. I then started to build a na 16v motor was going to be balls to the wall crazy. Then I had a good friend was killed by a prescription drug called Chantex. So I could not get the head work done that he designed. I put together a pretty gnarly 4G63 2.0 motor (grp aluminum rods, weisco 1400hd pistons) But my friend blew his drag eclipse and needed it for pinks all out.. I am now down with juggling engines. I decided I wanted to do a I6 so I picked a 2JZ block. I built it with the stock crank thats good to 1200hp with Carrillo Rods and Arias pistons. I am shooting for the 800hp mark with it, but the catch is I want to do it with a quick spool!

Here are a few pics of the 4g63 engine

Here are a few of the 2jz
AEM cam gears with 280 duration cams

As for the Chassis I am doing a full tube front end with quick turn 1/4 fasteners.
I'm going to convert a solid axle ford 9 into a independent rear end. I am awaiting to receive my Fabricated housing. I will chop it to make it small as possible. Then build a subframe for it. I will run in board brakes next to the pumpkin. Then have custom CV shafts made. I am undecided what style hubs I'm going to use. I am leaning on a corvette hub carrier and will weld holes shut and re drill (cnc) Porsche hub pattern put into it. Also I am converting to Porsche front hubs and carriers from a 944 ts. This will allow me to run any Porsche break set up and also Ferrari f-40 ceramic brakes bolt right up to it Also I will install the 996 Cup car center-locking hubs to it so I will have a single lug conversion!
