My good friends parents have one of these (albeit with ~84k km on it) and it a beast.

One of the last Benz' built like a tank to last for several hundred thousand miles. Very cool car that will no doubt be a collector's item some day.

Very rare. It's best to keep it a collector's item at this vintage. I'd imagine a lot of work needs to be done if someone wants to make it "daily driven".

I once saw a 1988(I think) Countach on Ebay with 345 miles on it. The amount of work it would need to put it back on the road would be huge. Same for this Mercedes. I'd love to buy a brand new Corvette, SL, or 911 someday and park it in my garage and drive it only 100 miles or so a year. Then, eventually, my kids can have it when I die and it'll be worth major bucks. Maybe
