Glad they ditched that giant 3-pointed star on the big SUVs. So bloody gaudy.

More pics of Socks McGee please

BrakeL8 is an unknown quantity at this point
thrilled to see this- now I can pickup a 06/07 E55 knowing that I won't be at all dissapointed I didn't get the new model (same thing I did w/ my 2006 MINI - not a fan of the new style, call me old fashioned)

When you build your own on the site the interior comes in something standard and then premium leather is a $1,7xx option but I thought that all E's had leather interior so what exactly is the difference.

I have to say that I like the car but you saying the interior resembles the C is worrisome...

haven't built one yet but I would assume that it comes with the "mb tex" or whatever their fake leather is called, and you can upgrade to real leather. Or the premium leather may just be a softer leather then the standard? My mom had the previous generation e-class and the middle of the seats were real leather while the bolsters were mb tex.
By the way, I LOVE the coupe, I went back to look at it a few times since the unveiling and I think its a gorgeous car. However... the interior does remind me of a C, I'm not saying that as a bad thing, but the materials and overall feel is very similar to me.

I went back to double check and you are right it is the MB Tex. I absolutely love the coupe but the sedan doesn't look half bad either. I like the AMG wheels much better and think those are a must...

Yeah the sedan is very nice but the coupe is just sick, I love it. MB tex isn't bad, just kind of weird knowing its fake.

+1!

and it has SO much potential

add spacers, nice wheels, drop it and it looks at least as hot as a modded 3series coupe

hope they`ll offer an AMG version soon

Strangely enough, your statement is more of a compiment than criticsm.
