Glk-350?

Well, my dad's being forced to give up his beloved company Navigator for something smaller. Anyone have any experiences with the GLK-350? Went to look at the ML today, and the GLK caught my eye. We played with it for a bit, took it for a test drive, and really liked it.

Was wondering if anyone had any longer-term experience or thoughts?

my mother-in-law has had one for about 6 months now...

she likes it, it drives fairly nice, rear seat space is decent for something that small.

I think it looks like a teenage girl's car but hers is black with the big wheels and looks OK.

I really like the GLK's... but it doesn't look like a Mercedes. Looks like a Ford Escape done right.

That said, I reiterate the fact that I like them as a small SUV.

Don't forget to take a look at the Audi Q5.

I second that. the Q5 is pretty good. typical excellent Audi Interior, and the Nav is incredible. pretty fun to drive as well.

The Tiguan is actually a decent handler, and can be tuned! The 2.0T can make as much power - or more! - than the GLK.

Bought the GLK, picked it up on Monday. Obsidian Black on black with the Appearance Package, the Multimedia Package, the Premium 1 package, and a set of good looking but incredibly annoying running boards that love to strike the back of your calves. I'll post up pictures tomorrow or so.
