The CLK / E-coupe has always had a 4-door model. Used to be called the 190E and since '94 the C-class.

The CLK has always shared suspension, chassis, and general underpinnings with the C-class. (I used to have a w202 and would often order parts for w208 if they weren't properly listed)

So to answer your question, the 4-door model is already out in the form of the w204.
