"Maybach revealed today the 2009 Landaulet - the world’s most exclusive open-top luxury saloon. First revealed as a concept in November 2007, the new Landaulet will go on sale in autumn 2008 at a price of EUR 900,000 (or US$ 1.35 million).
The 2009 Landaulet is powered by an uprated V12 engine, developed for the Maybach 57 S and the Maybach 62 S. Thanks to twin turbochargers, the V12 engine develops 612 hp from a displacement of 5980 cc.
The Maybach Landaulet is based on the Maybach 62 S – which can claim to be the world’s most powerful series-produced chauffeured saloon. Maybach technicians have removed the rear roof module in order to afford passengers an unobstructed view of the sky above. The side walls have been invisibly reinforced with an integral tubular steel structure. As these measures have not altered the silhouette of the luxury saloon, the generously dimensioned doors and the complete interior with reclining seats remain unchanged."

An s-class with more dazzle, the Paulmann S600 is a better buy if you want a stretched out car and even comes with B7 level protection.

That's Amazing, a convertible Maybach. Completely overpriced, but we all know that they are going to sell out of those things quickly; and it won't be long before we see a Matte Black one in Moscow.
For the record. I don't like the Maybach. I would also prefer a Pullman, or a Bentley Arnage T, or an S65. My first choice would be the Arnage T.
