Next project for the M5 for sure.... Gotta re-do my interior trim panels. I'm thinking the Brushed Titanium would look pretty hot over the black Full Leather interior.

I'm assuming this is much easier to work with than 3M's Di-Noc material, correct? How well does this work on complex curves?

Correct, it's thinner than the Di-Noc and a lot easier to work.

Hey, any idea how much of this stuff I'll need to do the interior trim of my E39 M5? I'm ready to order but I just don't know what I'll need to complete the job. Any suggestion?

Most guys are able to get away with a 5 x 2.5 section of the 1080, but that doesn't give any room for error. I usually suggest going a bit over kill 5x5 or 5x4 depending on which product you're looking at. This gives you plenty of extra for those pieces that come out pretty poorly the first time, and enough to wrap the other "things" you want to wrap around the house. For me it was switch plates at the house, the top of our bar, and other random odds and ends.

Im hoping to get a 5x5 sheet ordered from James soon.

Friend of mine whos dynoc'd the interior carbon fibre - has done a great job and got all the weave going all the right way through out - hes even done his grilles
This friend will be doing my trims for me

As far as I can understand this Scotchprint is even easier to apply than the DyNoc stuff...

Is the brushed aluminum a good match to the factory brush aluminum?
