The new 3.

The new 3.
The other day, member WFR22 and myself were privileged enough to be at the premiere of the new 3 series in the Netherlands.
As we walked in, we could see the definite effort put in by BMW Den Haag to promote their new car. The 3 Series has been split into 3 sections. You have Modern, Luxury and Sport (All of which have a same standard price). And even though I can see the reasoning behind this, I believe it's a bit, Japanese, if you get what I mean. To me, there is no need to distinguish between the three series. Even more so, the plaques just above the wheel arches are not necessary. However, this is a bit bias, as we have had the numbers removed from the back of our 5 Touring, and that kind of differentiation is nit-picking. One other thing, the handle inbetween your legs on the seat which is used to change the seat setting is atrocious. Please, remove it. Now.
I was pleasantly suprised with the new 3's styling. The agressive look suits the baby brother of the M3 well. I must also say that I loved the way that BMW Den Haag put all the 3's of the past in a row. To show the progression from the boxy 3's to the one we have now.
I wasn't able to get a test drive, being 14. But it was quite the experience.
