I don't know about you guys, but I'm loving this!
The front is aggressive, yet very elegant. Pure BMW! Interior is looking great, the materials look so much more refined than in the E90. However, I dislike the 10" Display, which is by the way fixed, rather than a pop-up model. To be honest, I would have preferred a pop-up display, I must be the only one, haha!
Also quite sad seeing how the inline-six cylinder engines are disappearing from the model range.
Either way, the new M3 will be a stunner, believe me.

clou, I'm anxious to see the new 4 Series coupe myself. We'll probably start seeing the test mules next spring.
The new 3er sedan's lower front facia (without M Sport) looks as if it was inspired by Alpina. I think this will be a stand out car in the flesh.

BMW design boss addresses critics of new 3-Series
My response to this: It's not that I have a problem with how the 3er looks too similar to the old one. In fact, I think it looks very different from the old one. And in the last few days the new design has grown on me a bit (the stupid crease down the side never will). The problem I have isn't that it looks too much like the old 3er, my problem is that it looks almost exactly like the 5er and 7er. I had a hard enough time telling the 5er and 7er apart, and now there's the 3er to worry about.
The design boss says that they do this to keep brand identity, and that it is "evolutionary design". I don't think this is the case though. Look at Porsche. You can instantly recognize any of them, yet they all have their distinctive design. And when they do a styling update, they don't just revise the design for the sake of changing it. Everything is purposeful. That is what evolutionary design is. Evolutionary design isn't putting a crease down the side and updating it to the new "universal" design.
Now with all that said, I think the new 3er is a great looking car. But its good looks are diminished greatly because every BMW looks exactly the same.
I miss a couple of years ago when the 3er 5er and 7er all looked completely different, yet were all still instantly recognizable as a BMW. I don't know what BMW was thinking, but what they should have done is a minor evolution on each existing design they had. Not just throwing all of the designs out and creating a universal one.
