Spied: 2012 BMW Gran Coupe
The Stretched 6er puts the CLS on Notice!

Here are some of the first photos of the new BMW 6 series Gran Coupe spotted by our trusty Teamspeed spies this morning in Germany. This is BMW's answer to the CLS from Mercedes and we have to say that the BMW looks much more sporty the CLS yet retaining the elegance we fell in love with when the concept was displayed.

The front and rear looks just like the BMW 6 coupe but BMW has managed to squeeze in a pair or rear doors in the slightly lengthed body. Engines will be the same as we know from the regular 6 series Coupe and Convertible. Now let's just pray for an M version! Stay tuned for more!

 

Just like a 6 series but with 2 extra doors.... BMW really went out of their way to make this car unique.

 

Rather have a A7 or CLS

Agreed. This has a little potential imo, they just better bring it out of the 6 series moniker.
