The only cars I can think of that BMW makes that don't absolutely suck in all aspects (especially design) are the M3 and M5. The same goes for Mercedes, except Mercedes has many more cars than BMW that are still good (well, slightly). Mercedes and BMW give their cars designs that are way too busy, and frankly, hideous.
Now AUDI... That's where it's at! Every car they currently build has aggressive, understated, and sexy design. Without a doubt Audi is the best German luxury manufacturer.

look at the new A8...looks totally bland and has much less presence than let`s say an S-class
but I agree with you on the fact that many new BMW models are a bit busy and steer away from the good ol conservative bavarian car design

No, not internet sarcasm. I admit, I should have taken a bit more time to think out my post, but for the most part, I mean what I say in that post. Mercedes and BMW just don't do anything for me. Their designs are way too busy. Audis have always been sexy and understated. I love their design language.
