Post Spied: New BMW 6-Series M Sport Pack

BMW (F13) 6-Series M Sport Pack
Spied at the ring

Our Teamspeed spies sure have been busy today and here is the latest catch, the new generation BMW 6-Series flogging around the ring wearing the M-Sport Package Aerodynamics. No word yet on availability of this option or pricing but we'll get the details as soon as they surface.

Totally.

Too much excess and empty space. They are known for the worlds greatest touring cars. How can this possibly be the answer?

I agree. Like most cars these days it seems like BMW is living by "The bigger the better" philosophy. IMO I agree with you, I think the last 6 series (e63) was big enough.

I prefer the classy clean lines new 6er coupe. It doesn't have to look super edgy and have bling all over to impress me. The lower body, long bonnet (typical classic BMW 6er coupe look) and lower wider upright kidney grilles gives it a nice sporty stance. The new 6er coupe is slightly lower and longer than it's predecessor, giving it a stretched look - similar to what BMW did with the new F10 5er sedan. Surprisingly, the rear overhangs look short and stout in person. This car sits well on it's wheels and has good proportions. It will have nice road presence with the increased track width. I like the E63, but it looked odd from some angles - especially from the rear angle. I think we'll appreciate this new GT coupe more in person. Looks great with the M Sport aero kit! Can't wait to see the M6.

2010 E63 6 Series Coupe
190.2" length
54.1" height
73" width
109.4" wheelbase
3814 lbs weight

2012 F13 6 Series Coupe
192.7" length
53.9" height
74.6" width
112.4" wheelbase
Not sure on weight.

I like the old 6 series but this car also looks great, my favourite model is an individual facelift M5's and M6's.
