Mercedes car get away with calling the CLS a coupe, only because it has a very small coupe-like back seat. This is definitely a sedan because it looks far to long and the door to the back seat is almost as big as the door to the front door.

 

They should call the "BM-Benz".


Looks like a Benz. BMW should pull their heads out of their bums.

 

Because of the design - it has coupe like proportions.

BMW is marketing this as the 6er Gran Coupe, and it has been said to be approved for production. We'll eventually see three variants; 6er Coupe, Gran Coupe, and Cabrio. Reports have suggested this model might be named 6 GT. There's been rumors about this model since early '09. BMW will enter this segment with plans to compete with Audi's A7, Mercedes-Benz CLS, and even the super luxurious and sporty Porsche Panemera, and Aston Martin Rapide.

I think it looks great, but why call it a coupe. An M version of this would be insane. Anybody care to make a rendering of what an M version will look like.

You think that they'll make a hardtop 4 dour convertible like the one Audi is proposing?
