Some interior shots of my E30

The red seatbelts are from E30 M3, because the E30 version is NLA. I decided that 21 year old seatbelts probably aint the safest thing.

Recovered leather seats with butt warmer retrofit.

Alcantara headliner.

M-tech steering wheel.

New updated compound dashboard that won't split under the sun like the original one.

Backseat in leather with sunshine kidz.

New fresh airducts so they actually stay in place.

The flip up NAV system with BT, iPod, and DVD. The NAV is a separate unit made by Garmin.

New anthracite carpet replacing the smelly nasty looking original red carpet.

Euro smiley's with parking lights wired and xenon bulb/ballast.

About 180K give or take.

This is the restore project that has been going on all year.

We decided earlier this year to save and keep this car since this was the car that I took the mrs out on our first date.

After a few years when what we have spent this year on the car have amortized, we will have the car compeltely stripped then resprayed with Glasurit, then have Premier clearbra it.

Oh yeah, and the metal bumper will be replaced with either the M-Tech bumpers or the regular plastic bumper.

And finally, some kind of BMW engine with at least 240HP will also be put in.

This will be our nice keep sake.

And yes, it is properly insured with actual value, so we are not screwed if we get crashed into.

Nice work man! It's been a long time coming and I know how much blood, sweat and tears you put into this car. Happy motoring!

The roller sunblind is in a metal shop to have the tab fabricated, since the stupid part is now NLA as well.

So one of these days I will have my roller sunblind.

Oh and just to be clear, I sourced a lot of these parts, because my mechanic doesn't really deal with older BMW's, but he did the work. I just write the check and scour the parts catalog for unique European parts.
