It really is a shame that the BMW brand can't consolidate on the success they've had with their challenger strategy and continue with sporty designs that drivers want, not what designers want.

....and BMW Design Chief Chris Bangle further added "We drew heavily upon a large number of visual cues from Toyota's monumentally successful Prius to produce what we feel is the future of the sports sedan" He then went on to say "The world market has shown us through its healthy demand for our recently launched X6 model that it still wants a gas guzzling, hatchback, activity-oriented vehicle" Sheer brilliance from a man whose career has been defined by such.
