Do you think GM and Ford will go out of business?

If not, then GM at $9.96 (lowest since 1954) and Ford at $4.36 (lowest in at least 20-30 years) are probably buys.

On the other hand, would you really buy them now, with the current price of oil, and the strong possibility of a looming recession (not to mention the disaster if the Democrats win the White House!)?

But how can you NOT buy them at these prices, unless you think they are going to completely disappear?

I thought the same about a few banks back in November. Unless they are at 0, everything can go down.

I don't think anyone expects the market to bounce back big within the next few months. Why not wait until the election at least, you may not get in at rock bottom but unless you have money to burn why take the risk?
