Great cars but unless you find someone to give you the mother of all warranties I wouldn't touch a used one with a 50ft. pole. Unless you're a good mechanic or have a connection for Vdub parts.

I have an uncle that is the service manager at a local VW dealership lol is that enough of a connection?

Hopefully lol. They're great cars when everything is working. Ive been around more used ones than I can count. More often than not there is always several things that need to be worked out. Sometimes not so bad. Sometimes it winds up being a W12 engine...
