How is that cheaper than Singapore ? According to this chart a car with a price tag of 185k in the US would cost ~ 1,1$ in Singapore?!

Isn't SGD 239800 about 187K? Like I said, a car would cost $379K in India which is about 486K in Singapore dollar.

I must really suck at conversion. From 1 SGD is about $0.7 and Re.1 is 0.02. I don't know about taxes there, so I'll just take back what I said.

In Portugal a base 370z is 73.600 euros or 93.000 dollares. I think American guys even don´t know how cheap cars are in USA. The salaries are a piece of crap to, here.

Singapore is absurd. They have pretty strict rules re: cars and such. A couple years ago I interviewed with a company here that has offices there, and while the salary was higher I looked at the cost of things like cars and thought "f that!"

That's the difference indeed, the average American makes about as much as the average Dutchman but stuff cost less than half it costs here..

Had to pay $2400 to get an Ipad + Iphone while in the US that would have been 1/3th of hat..

and gasoline in many of those countries cost equally as higher on a percentage basis. The US is the lowest cost Country for most anything you purchase regardless of category. This is just one example.
