Rebirth of an Icon: The ICON Bronco
#31
Thinking the exact same thing. Was just looking at the Singer cars the other day , their price tag seems more inline when the Bronco is at $155k. I'm trying to recall the name of a company that does this type of work but with Land Rover defenders, 110s etc. very cool. I think they're in North Carolina

You two forgot the important part of that article. It said STARTING AT 155K
This like the Singer which starts at 225k can possibly creep up quickly as well.
the Singer I liked was 330k or more equipped.

Its true they are making money, but also remember that ICON builds cars in numbers and items like the billet door handles, mirrors, and grill would cost a fortune to have designed, engineered and made as one off pieces if someone were to undertake a project to REPLICATE this in its entirety. ICON is able to purchase, make or have made many of the expensive parts at a significantly less cost than if someone were to do this as a one off.
I would be interested to see exactly how much it would cost to replicate a Singer 911 in exact duplicate. Given all the custom pieces of extremely high quality, my guess is Singer is not making a killing of each car they sell.
