Recap: Caffeine & Carburetors
Zumbach’s Gourmet Coffee in New Canaan, CT hosts another fine event
Last week we were tipped off to a great local gathering in Connecticut that has been going on for quite sometime, so we sent teamspeed.com member Andrew from Shutterspeed Photography to cover this exclusively for Teamspeed. Seeing the pictures from today's get-together surely gives us the urge to participate more often in these to help indulge in the gear head passion that brings us here in the first place.
Caffeine & Carburetors is a gathering of automotive enthusiasts that meets at Zumbach’s Gourmet Coffee in New Canaan, CT about 6 times year to enjoy our rides and share them with like-minded gear heads hiding in and around Connecticut and New York. Doug Zumbach began hosting these gatherings in 1995 and they have only grown more popular as each season passes on.
Today's gathering was this season finale and Miller Motorcars displayed the Ferrari North America Race truck featuring the Ferrari 458 Challenge Race Car and other current Ferrari models including the all new Ferrari FF.
At the end of the rally, 109 Cheese and Wine and Bernard’s Restaurant, greeted the attendees at the Ridgefield Playhouse after the serving up grilled cheese and tomato soup with some hot apple cider, perfect for a crisp November Sunday.
As noted by the events website, these gatherings fall on Sundays starting around 8 am to gather and enjoy a cup of coffee followed by a leisurely drive through the countryside. We can't think of a better way to spend a morning.

Great pics so far! I was there yesterday & it truly was the best C&C to date. Weather was perfect and the turnout was amazing.
I believe Miller were also the ones who brought that gorgeous Veyron -- many thanks to them for a great display.
Can't wait until next year!
