Daily Driver For The Wife

Looking to spend roughly $45k for a daily driver for the wife.

Trading a V8 Touareg and have looked at the following:

2011 X3 35i (best drive but I'm not sold on the mini-SUV)
2008 Cayenne S (great drive)
2008 X5 4.8 (good drive and a little worried about reliability)

She drives 2k miles per month so gas mileage counts for something. Am I missing anything?

Yeah, looks good. Too light on the performance compared to the X3 though.

Would be my favorite if they were more reliable.

So, if this is for your wife, why have you skipped Toyota Prius?

This comes with a kitchen, but might be over the $45k mark....

@GrayTT:

Go for the X5. The X3 and the Cayenne are not so pretty.

And what about the Evoque?
