A behind the scenes look at the latest from HRE Wheels

Our good friends at HRE share with us a behind the scenes look at their latest creation, the 790RS. The 790RS is the latest line to come from HRE Wheels. They've combined the "conical" style with new sculpted designs to give the wheels a unique deep look . The new 790RS Series is both stronger and lighter than its predecessor thanks to its new profile, without the added weight of typical concave designs. This reduces both rotational inertia and unsprung mass.

In this video, President of HRE Wheels Alan Peltier talks a bit about the theory behind the new design and shows it all in the making from design, to the finished product on an Audi R8.
