2011 Concours at Churchill Downs

Went to the Churchill Downs Concours today. Much better than last year. Finally got to see the Aventador which looks amazing in person. It just looks so aggressive, especially in black. Fell in love with it today. Also got to see the James Bond 1964 Aston Martin DB5 from the movie Goldfinger. An absolute classic from the best Bond film in my opinion. Really cool car, but didn't get many photos of it. Also had some other Bond movie vehicles on hand. And a personal local favorite is the replica 1965 Shelby Daytona Coupe that is absolutely flawless. Not such a bad way to spend a Sunday and a pretty good turnout and group of cars considering the city. Hoping this event keeps growing and adding some great cars. Not great pics, but I'm sharing them anyway!

 

Can't get the rest pf the pics to upload, but here is one of the classic Indy cars and a video of it starting up and revving. So damn loud, but sounded great. Enjoy!!
