630-hp Spada Codatronca TS enters production, runs on E85 Following three months of tests and trials, Spadaconcept is launching production of its supercar, the Spada Codatronca TS. The first version of the car is called the TS (short for Turismo Sportivo adds an ad hoc converter kit that allows the car to run on E85 giving it a little extra boost in power and torque.
Power for the Codatronca TS comes from a 7 liter V8 engine that produces 630-hp and 493 lb-ft of torque. That gives it the ability to go from rest to 62mph in only 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 211mph. The Codatronca TS also features a Brembo braking system with racing 8 pistons aluminum calipers on the front and 4 pistons on the rear.
An even more powerful version of the car, called the Spada TSS (short for Turismo Super Sportivo) is already being tested and will be launched at the end of 2008.
