Lightweight, great chassis, lots of NA power... makes sense but I am blown away as well... would love to see Pobst wring out a ZR1 in the same setting.

Novitec ran their 700hp Scuderia down there and they only managed 1:34's or 33's before overheating and not finishing the weekend.

Laguna isn't a HP track. He's probably close in either car. It's a momentum track. Too much horsepower in many situations hinders more than helps.
