I agree that an enthusiast needn't be loyal to one marque, need only to be able to afford curiosity and open-mindedness, not feel the need or desire to change their oil or learn how to do so, and they must have a large fan somewhere in their house or storage facility.

 

Enthusiast: That individual who comes into the shop on his day off unannounced and is compelled by his single minded obsession to siphon 2 hours of a productive work day to indulge a fruitless carnival tour of all the cars and work in process. Who then returns the following week with friends in tow expecting yet another fun filled tour, which in truth is little more than a self aggrandinzing opportunity for him to regurgitate last week's newly discovered trivia.
