The 458 is the result of a violent back alley rape of a Gallardo by an Enzo. No one really wants the result.
Honestly the 458 to drive is probably Fantastic. I'd expect nothing else from Ferrari. For me anyway if I saw an ugly woman and everyone in the world said she's the best fvck in the world. I'm still not going to fvck her. I'm going to let everyone else fvck her. Driving an ugly car is no different. If it drives great I would still have to be seen in it.
