Ahh yes phenomonal car, where's that youtube vid of a XJ destroying all the modern supercars on Top Gear?
Here:

I was at the Amsterdam checkpoint of the Gumball 3000 and watched Maxmillian roll through the (crazy) crowd in his XJ220, this has a presence like no other. Oh and it's LOUD.

I absolutely adore the XJ220 in dark colours, the car used to be one of my favourites back in the day with the F40, CLK GTR in the list as well but now a days the list has been lengthened with the SLR, Zonda and many mind blowingly cool cars.
I've seen an XJ220 10 years ago and its been a while since I've last seen one, Auto singnen.de an exotic car dealership in germany has one for sale for a decent price.

They look wonderful, and the acceleration is brutally fast...personally, I love the the lines and shape of the car.
Ownership is a bit of a nightmare though. I was seriously looking at acquiring one a couple of years ago, but the only certified shop in the US disuaded me from getting one. They said that the parts were near impossible to get (cambelts and head gaskets no longer produced !), and anytime the car was in service (frequently) it was immobilized for months. Fuel cells have to be changed, and in general, the car was not uber reliable (The service center said to expect service bills of 30k+ fairly often)
It's a testament to the beauty of the car that the heart still yearns for that car...even though the head says stay away !
If there is any serious pullback in prices of these, it would be worth pulling the trigger.
On boost, it is no joke...
