The Sultan kept Bentley, Rolls Royce and a number of other marques alive. Someone mentioned McLaren selling him 9 F1s... what business wouldn't do that if given the opportunity!!

His wealth came in very useful in the car industry...

im sure those 9 would have easy been sold to 9 other people instead of going to just one individual to simply look at and garage queen...its overkill

I'm pretty sure McLaren were intending to build more... but at the time they couldn't see them.
