Most of those cars are from the RV King Don Wallace's collection
"A native of Tennessee, Don moved to Florida with his family as a teenager. He finished high school in Tampa and returned to Tennessee to take up farming. He remained in Tennessee for almost nine years before returning to Tampa with thoughts of opening a landscaping business. As fate would have it, Don sold his own RV through the newspaper, making a profit. He then bought two more RV's, sold them also making a profit. With these successes as inspiration, Don decided that this would be a pretty good business to go into.
He approached his father and brother about going into the recreational vehicle business. Then in 1976, Don, along with his father H.K. and brother Ron, opened the "Lazy Days RV Center" in Tampa, Florida. The original business was located on a 1.75 acre site with two travel trailers as inventory and virtually no capital. The rest is history. Under Don's leadership and keen business sense, Lazy Days RV Center has grown to over $600 million in annual sales delivering over 8,000 RV's a year. This sales volume makes "Lazy Days" the largest RV dealership in the world - almost four times the size of it's next largest competitor.
Don sold his company in July 1999. Being a strong believer in giving back to the community, he and his wife, Erika, now serve on the boards of numerous community efforts while raising their two small children."
