When I was 16- 1999 jeep grand cherokee limited (similar to the one pictured). That is still my favorite car- it had black leather, 4.7 L V8 that was a rocket (even faster than my dad's current 5.7L hemi GC), infinity sound system on that car ROCKED. Now I have a discovery 2 and I love it but the GC was honestly a better ride, a million times faster, and had ZERO problems.

Man... some of these first cars don't make me feel jealous... they make me feel OLD! When I was 16, the hot new cars were the 1988 Porsche Carrera 3.2, the Nissan 300ZX (before the twin-turbo one), and the facelifted C4 Vette. Ouch.

You think those cars make you feel old...

My first love was my father's 1978 450SEL 6.9 but too bad he sold it, I had plans on getting the car for myself. I stopped talking to my father for around 2 months when he sold the car I think I was 10 or 13 by that time...

I still haven't posted up my first lady..... I got her when I was 18! My mother handed it over to me.

1984 280SEL AKA Tea with Milk.

She has over 600,000KMs ++ I still use her from time to time and she's still running like a new dream...Got plans for her to give her a fresh new paint job.. This car will NEVER be sold, I hope some day I will park her in my living room, means so much to me!

I noticed one thing as well, the majority FIRST cars on this forum is the Jeep Cherokee!!

Amazing rides guys...brings back some good old memories!! Keep em coming!!

Impalas, Preludes, Stangs!!

I'm really surprised that there aren't any Camaros!!

I read somewhere here that a member had a lift kit on a truck, that's basically the sickest thing as a first car...nothing beats a truck with a lift kit!!

Keep em coming, don't be shy to share your 2nd or 3rd cars as well... or any car that has special sentimental value!

hahahah thanks man. but the things i did to get that car... u know how people use influence(wasta) to make their driving classes less? well the normal amount of classes is 40 my dad used his influence(wasta) that i do mooore classes! i had to do 140 took me 8months till i can actually do my test :P luckily we own the driving center so at least i could start my lessons when i was 17 instead of the normal 18. my granddad did the same to my dad so i think hes just taking revenge

The first Prelude I beat the shit out of lasted me for a while as a first car well into my college days, despite replacing the e-brake cable a couple of times. I bought a brand new Jeep Cherokee in 98 I think, then I got a Mustang GT convertible shortly thereafter. I got the Mustang when I moved to Hilton Head Island, SC for a couple of years cuz it seemed like a cool car to have while living at the beach. It was fun to drive in a straight line..... I brought it back to PA and it met it's demise on an icy road one night involving a telephone pole. I survived obviously. It was nearly totaled but the insurance company paid to have it fixed. When I got it back, I drove it for one day and then traded it in on an Audi S4 the following day. That's probably the best trade up I've done aside from trading my Mercedes CLK for a BMW M5 on Monday.
