The VRAlexander Tribute thread
#24
When I hopped on TS a few minutes ago, I couldn't believe my eyes, I did a double take. I couldn't believe what I read. Very sad news indeed! Being from Australia I personally had never met him, nor talked to him sadly, however believe or not it was a massive goal of mine to do for my upcoming trip to the States in August!
I remember seeing his "Hello BH" video for the first time a couple of years back. I watched it over and over again, in awe at such a raw and amazing car!
For me, still to this day and forever, when I hear someone talk about the Carrera GT, the first thing I associate is VRAlexander! He was an amazing driver, and through his videos I can see he was a very fun and charismatic person, and a joy to be around!
To his family and those who knew him personally, I give my deepest condolences. A legend has been lost...
RIP VRAlexander

It's so sad to read this... I spoke to him a few years back when I lived in Cali to try and meet up and get a ride in his CGT. Unfortunetely, I hadn't time to work it out. He was a true car enthusiast and, from what I've read and seen, a very cool guy who wanted to share his passion with fellow enthusiasts. If it helps anything, I guess he wished to leave this world while being behind the wheel. R.I.P. Alex!
Btw, Felix have you got that rolling shot of his CGT? It's an awesome shot.

He was not in any movies, but he was a huge celebrity in the auto world. I can't tell you how often from kids my age that I have heard, "I wish I could drive like him, or own that car." Can anyone point me to one of his videos where you can't help but smile? Didn't think so, they were all great and entertaining. Just like he is.
RIP.
RIP.
