New- Panoz Abruzzi Spirit of Le Mans
Abruzzi is a front mid-engine design with an unspecified engine providing 600+ horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque mounted low and behind the front axle. Also following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Abruzzi has its radiators mounted in the rear with cooling air being drawn from a duct in the roof and along the rear side windows.

I'm a Panoz fan. They're really the only American car company that focuses on great handling cars. I have a GT-RA race car that's just oodles of fun, but what I like the most is that the cars are really simple, and use comparatively inexpensive parts. Basically, Ford Mustang drivetrain with a kick-ass chassis. The front-mid-engined layout eliminates the piggish understeer you tend to get with front-engined cars.
I've been anticipating the Abruzzi launch for a while, but I don't know how I feel about them going after the high-end market like this. The best American performance cars (the Ford GT being the best example) have always had extreme performance at a lower price than their competitors. Panoz has racing heritage for sure, but I'd prefer them to stick with the "we'll pulverize the competition for half the price".
I *love* that they went for a metric sh*t-ton of crazy in the design, though.

I'm a big fan of the design as well. Reminds me of the old Panoz GTR-1 car they used to race back in the late '90s and early '00s if I'm not mistaken. It's just so out there and in-your-face!

I'm sure it'll be a quick sucker too. I'd love to get my hands on a retired Esparante GT2 ALMS car in a decade or so and just drive the wheels off it. It's gotta be one of the best looking cars in its class, imo.
PMac = Awesome, btw.
