Not the smartest thread...
I use to do similar things when i was in college, then i got older and realized that not only am i further incriminating myself by posting pics online; its not even cool to speed like this on public roads... These are people parents and children you're passing like that at those speeds.

I wont speed on a highway, too much at risk, and more importantly too much to lose for both you AND other road users.

I will counterbalance your stupid post with a car driving picture that is actually cool.

Me and a German porno star on the Nurburgring in an M3

Just an observation: A lot of car forum users denigrate reckless driving, speeding, street racing, etc. unless it's on the autobahn or the skyway... Why?

Guest - I can't speak for 'a lot of forum users' but you'll notice my pictures are of me on a closed one way road, designed for that kind of driving.

Autobahn - If you've never been to Germany and seen yourself the way the roads run there, you wont understand. But basically at 200mph only you will be in danger, the other drivers are massively competent as a general rule.
Germany has the best drivers in the world in my experience, and I've been a lot of places.

because the latter is actually legal and the former not!

Although I've never driven on the 'bahn, I'm not ignorant of the way in which it works. Although the risk is "basically" on those who choose to drive fast, it isn't all transferred to them.

Next time I kill someone remind me to go somewhere where it's legal so it's ok.

I think Ced has demonstrated to us that the salient concern is the local legality of such behavior, not the drivers' skills.
