So basically you get the same as we do - well a little less actually because although our roads are jammed as f*ck, they're pretty good engineering wise - and although we pay too much tax as well, it still isn't as bad as in Norway. So where does all the money go?

And to think we voluntarily gave Norway away in the beginning of the last century. No wonder you're laughing at us

I was about to mention the oil income too. Do Norwegian teachers make €200k/year? Where does all the money go??

To be honest, I really don't know, to my knowledge Norway is run by complete idiots!
The oil fund never gets used, the politicians say that we have to save it for when we run out of oil, which sounds ok. But what would make sense was to use some of it to invest in other forms of industry for the future.

I think the average salary for a norwegain high-school teacher would be around 40-45K usd a year, BEFORE taxes. So not that much taken in consideration what everything costs..
