Need to buy a SUV - Denali XL vs. Sequoia.

Hey guys,

I need to buy a new vehicle for my wife. I was thinkging of getting a Denali XL or the new Sequoia. I figured that she can drive it most of the times and I can use it tow my cars to the track. I track only 5-6 times a year so I really don't need a truck.

I was debating betwen the 08 Denali XL and Sequoia. The both tow 8000+lbs so that isn't the issue. Anybody have experience with them. Any quality issues - any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Ritesh.

New Sequoia looks like baby hippo rolling down the road. Buy a Denali.

Expedition!!!, and get a much better ride, independent rear suspension, and be able to fold your seats into the floor. Also much better looking interior!

Which the Sequoia can do also and not have all the problems that Fords have! And you get a much better engine.

So sayeth the guy that has a Ford and has had an Expedition.

I haven't seen any expedition issues... However Toyota issues including crash tests, cams, transmissions....

And if you can't tell I'm biased

Sequoia is a chick car. Probably a nicer daily than the Denali for your wife (Expedition? Please!), but you gotta decide is it worth it pulling up to the track, of all places, in a chick car. Suburban Z71 myself . . .

Lets go line up your "Manly Man" Suburban against my Sequoia and see what happens, then I'll let you try to follow me offroad in my chick car and I'll help pull you out when you get stuck.

Scared? I think so.
