Yes, especially since you apparently plan on hanging on to it for awhile.

G55 is more bad a$$ but the RR is more comfortable and nicer inside. That is where you spent most of the time. Sit in both, look at the dash, center console, how the steering wheel feels etc.

RRSC - new revision has plenty of power and is much more technologically advanced.

What everyone has mentioned previously is all correct. It comes down to "new" technology versus old........or in this case......very old

However that said.......the G55 is a worldclass suv in my book as far as its stance and sheer presence. When I drive mine, I definitely know I'm in a truck. And I enjoy that aspect of it. Sort of the same feeling as when you drive something like an H1 Alpha. I have an 07' RRSC. The 10' is far more advanced in technology. But I barely touch upon all the innovation in mine as it is. So "more" for me would be overkill.

Maybe this analogy would help:

G55 = F40
RRSC = Scuderia
10' RRSC = Italia

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
I think the new RR. The older RR's had severe electrical problems. However, the new ones have been completely redone and from what I was told, have none of the past RR's problems. No idea what new ones will arise... Not to mention the RR is far better looking IMO.

Also depends on how much you will drive this. I would not consider the G55 a daily driver for more then a few miles in either direction. The RRSC....you can put in "auto" mode and just relax. The thing could drive itself.
