Have you driven/ridden in a g55? Please go test drive it. Then get back to us. It's a rough ride. Mike S is thinking of customizing his g55 and suggesting different springs/suspension, if you're going to have passengers in the car most of the time, they will hate your guts. It's just unbearable.
Perhaps one of the new RRS special editions that they are bringing?

Ive test driven the g55 and the stiffness didnt bother me over the 15 minutes of driving the car...not to say after weeks or months it might be a different story!
I didnt know mike had purchased a G55 yet,I thought i was only considering it..

I'd say go with the new RR SC it has just been seriously improved and comparing it to the G55 is like comparing top contemporary vehicle technology(RR) to stone age technology/ergonomics

This is the thought that's been in the back of my mind the whole time..
The fact that the G55 still has solid axles is a little deterring.

Unique, Solid, and will still look as good when you give it to your kid in 20 years.

Range Rover for sure, for me. The new model is awesome, and the power is great.

But then I've never been a G-Wagen fan. I've ridden in plenty, and I'm a Benz fan, and I get it. But it's just not for me.

To me the G-Wagen just looks like you're trying too hard to be cool.
