Porsche AG may want more than 50% of Volkswagen

POR3.GR Porsche AG may want more than 50% of Volkswagen (VOW.GR), says Focus - Reuters (113.55)

Without citing sources, the news magazine said Porsche plans to eventually raise its Volkswagen stake to 75% so as to approve a domination agreement at a shareholder meeting. Recall that Lower Saxony can make such plans hard to carry out due to the historical circumstances surrounding its 20% stake in Volkswagen. Reuters says Porsche CFO Holger Haerter has secured options that are expected to effectively reduce its takeover bill dramatically below the €10B it would cost at market prices.
