Any Audi Q7 Owners Here?

As the subject says, I'm looking for some feedback from any Audi Q7 owners. Ideally the 4.2 petrol (gas) version.

If anyone has one of these, it would be great to hear your experience with it.

My wife and I were looking into the Range Rover Sport but after taking it out for a test drive, decided against it.
We then took an Audi Q7 out and loved it! Its going to be my wifes daily driver for her and my daughter, so no comments on it being slower than your 911 Turbo or LP640

Anyone had any good or bad experiences?

Drove a loaded 4.2l a while back and liked it a lot. Felt bigger than the X5, Cayenne, etc., had great electronics, good build quality, and very acceptable power.

Never driven one but I love the exterior.

I personally don't care much for it but it's not a bad car per se, out of curiosity; did you drive the new RRS and if so what didn't you like about it?

I like it a lot. I didn't chime in because I don't own one, but I took an extended test drive in one when they came out. It's VERY well appointed, easy to drive, and looks awesome, esp. w/S-line and the RS4 style wheels. I would put them #2 on my list (Cayenne GTS is #1, RRSS #3).

OK thanks guys, that pretty much seems to be my feeling too.

We currently have a 4.2 A6 Audi and I felt like the Q7 was an even better quality that that suprisingly!

I did take the RSS supercharged out for a test drive yes and was very impressed, although it felt underpowered. I must admit feeling a little dissapointed with the power when I slammed the gas down .. although in fairness I did just blast my E55 all the way there, so that probably had a lot to do with the RRS feeling slow.

I'm still trying to find an overfinch locally to test drive though, as that would be a great bridge between the perceived lack of power and keeping the same quailty car/suv.

The build and ride quality of the RRS was top of the line though, very impressive.

FWIW, the NEW Range Rover Sport Supercharged is much, much faster than the old one. It'll crush a Cayenne (non-turbo) or the Q7.
