Morgan Aero 8

One of my favorite cars, currently in production is the Morgan Aero 8 and Aeromax. The English automaker, Morgan Motor Cars, released the Aero 8 in 2000 but recently upgraded the motor to the BMW 4.8 V8, a 6speed GETRAG transmission, added many aluminum parts and fixed the cross eyed headlights.

V3 Aero 8:

AeroMax:

Morgan Motor Company is still true to their roots. Located in Malvern, England, UK, the factory has 163 employees hand assembling 14 cars per week. Its unabashed British heritage paired with modern dynamics is a tribute to the talented craftsmen and enlightened management company.

I think the car meshes well with a sailboat, book reading and “smooth operator” crowd; however, the car packs a punch, producing 325hp hurling the 2500 lb car down the street or track. Morgan’s Aero 8 has entered the 24 Hours of Le Mans twice, in 2002 and 2004; the FIA GT series and is used in the British GT series. But the small company does not challenge the Porsche 911.

Among their enthusiasts, Morgans are affectionately known as Moggies. Their owners tend to be very traditional in their approach to sports cars.

I really like the car.

one of the best designs in the last 50 years.

I saw two when I was over in England 3 years ago and literally tripped over myself looking at them

I want one badly. They're definitely one of the best all-time car designers.

Such a beautiful exterior! The interior is lacking. I can't get over how out of place that stereo looks. Maybe they could have buried it in a glove box or something. And the steering wheel could look more classic to match the dash.

Now that they have changed the positioning of the headlights it's much more attractive.
