Every persian/armenian kid in LA gets one when they're 16, it's almost systematic. And then every 6 weeks, systematically, you hear about how they dolled it up on Stunt Rd. or were racing down Sunset and put the car into someone's front yard.

It's the reason why I can't seem to warm up to the M3...in SoCal there's just too much douchebag/ego wrapped up in them.

I'm not sure what this article is trying to prove exactly... It's essentially just 10 of the most popular sports cars in the US.

It'd be more interesting to compare all of the most common leased cars, and see where the sports cars fit in there.

I can completely understand leasing cars for owners who don't care to mod them... Yeah there's pros and cons to it but at least you're guaranteed to get rid of it at a very specific time, hopefully to upgrade.

I'm surprised the corvette was #1.
Also VERY surprised there wasnt an Evo up on that list.

Until you get slammed with fees for breaking your lease agreement
unless of course you revert to stock before returning the car .. or i guess if you end up keeping it once your lease is up.

I'm not 100% sure that Mitsu even offers leasing; methinks that those Evos would be abused harshly.

Cheap (ish) as they are, I wouldnt buy my kid an evo if i were a parent.
Just as dangerous as buying them a Ferrari in my opinion... well, except you can total 5 or 6 evo's for the price of a ferrari

The BMW M3 features a carbon-fiber roof. Carbon-fiber is an ultra-lightweight but extremely strong material often found on race cars. This means the M3's 414-horsepower V8 has even less weight to push around, meaning you get where you are going that much faster

wow...
I wonder who wrote this...
