Fuel pump or fuel filter, which one is likely bad?

I'd say check the relay for the fuel pump first, then check the filter, then the pump itself. If you need me to look up anything for you like part numbers or wiring diagrams/schematics, just let me know and I can do it first thing tomorrow morning.

I got up under it and had my wife turn the key to on, and I did not hear the pump prime itself... So... looks like a trip to the shop to drop the tank is in order.
Can't really complain. Never had any major repairs with this thing.
