My pick - M3
I know they're notoriously biased (they even acknowledge it several times in the newest issue), but:

Depends on your needs/wants. The S5 is much more comfortable, more refined, and better looking. The M3 is a little louder, a little stiffer, and maybe not quite as elegant looking, but much more fun. Do you need awd?

Yeah, I mean, we can't really help you unless we know what you need and want from a car.
In my opinion, unless you are driving in a lot of low grip situations (i.e. rain, snow, wet leaves, etc.), get the M3. The coupe has better lines, but the sedan is really cool in its own way, and the backseat, although somewhat limited room wise, is still usable.
Also, consider the lease rates on Audi's are notoriously bad. The S5 is a less expensive car than a comparable M3, but it's going to cost substantially more to lease. I live in the NW, and even if it was my only car, I think I'd still do a 24 month lease on an E90 M3. It's just a really great car in every respect.
