Q: Sciocco for Gulf market?

Younger brother convinced me to order one for him as incentive for good grades. Have som quick questions that I'm hoping someone can answer.

What engines are / will be available ? (In my region)

Options to manual gearbox, is it auto/DSG/automated-manual/what-else?

AWD, FWD or RWD?

How safe is it? -Not expecting it to be a Volvo or anything...

Roughly how much will a fully optioned one set me back?

Last one, Scirocco vs Mini Cooper S ?
(other suggestions?)

TIA

Wisam

Go for the Scirocco! Should be a really fun car, like the GTI is only better.

That DSG is supposed to be like, the greatest transmission on the planet ever or something. Everyone I know who's driven them (including a friend of mine who is a service manager at a VW dealer) says they're amazing.
