My idea of "best" parking spot.

My idea of "best" parking spot.
This has to be the best parking spot for an SLK,
a parking spot that is far far away from soccer moms with their suburbans slamming their doors to your car causing dings, a location you will be rest assured that your car is in a safe place far away from people who really don't know how to park in between the "white line's " which separate your parking spots to theirs.
What is even better that the weather was terrific today, very London like 16 degrees C with a very cool breeze. I drove for an hour and a half with the top down and had brunch outside with a couple of friends that came from Saudi Arabia for the weekend.
I went to Costa Cafe and Marina mall and I swear I saw around 3 F430 Ferrari's but not a single SLK55, though I have to admit seeing a couple of 200K's one a Designo Mauritus blue and another white or red car. Other cars I saw today are 997 GT3 RS Green, White F430, Red F430 coupe, Red F430 spyder, Bentley GTC continental and a G55K White.
This has to be one of the best experiences I have faced so far with the SLK, you tend to get lucky sometimes were the weather just suites your mood. A day were you want to relax and enjoy the finer things in life and I really needed that.
On the way back home thinking of posting my day experience on the forums, the exhaust bark under the tunnel made me excited.
Of course the day cannot be perfect when a M3 E46 is tail gating me for 5-10 minutes, there must be someone spoiling my commute and I blame it on this person. It shows that I was not intending to race, but anyways the day was 95% splendid and I enjoyed it.
Now here are some pictures of today,

He mentioned whats the winning noise coming from the engine, I told him its a large metal piece which blows the doors of an Aston martin.
I wasn't that bad with the pictures, I am using my mobile phone lately as it has 3.2mp camera.
In regards to the M3, why waste the petrol in a tank for a lousy in line 6 that sounds like a gay ricer.

Sweet...Wish I had a spot like that near our new office in downtown SF. Now we dont even have our own garage in the bldg. Crappy valet lots all around, no ins/outs unless you pay another 17-20bux day.
Closest lot I can park and keep my keys is on the roof of a valet lot 3 blocks away which fills up before 9:30am...great, unless I have a meeting outside the city or try to work from home for a bit to avoid the morning traffic.
