I don't know but it's certainly a badass truck! I have a hunch it'd be pretty tough since LR stopped shipping the Defenders to the US in 1997, presumably for safety reasons.

You could probably import one yourself, go through EPA and DOT certification ... although I'm unsure it would clear the DOT without being an NA spec Defender. Needless to say it would cost a fortune.

Probably easier to just pick a 90 Defender already US and rig it similar to the SVX ...

FYI, isnt the SVX right hand drive only offered as a special edition for UK costumers only ?

very possible, however, you have to install a roll bar (inside the truck) and do some compliance spec stuff.

i looked into it a few years ago and figured i didnt need a 60k+ dollar defender.

there is a company that specializes in this located in new mexico or arizona. i do not know if they still exist. i will try to find a website for you later...
